  2. Hmmm i just don't understand why the people of Aphganitsan do not get that we dont like them, but they continue to do stuff. I understand that their angry with we americans, but it is no good paying evil with evil also i think that america should stop triing to say their going to burn thr Quran and that we should kill all the muslims, because that are the things that make the muslims want to get us because they are triing to get us befor we get them. This doesnt mean that what the people inn aphgan were rite for doing that, but i think the americans should look at ourselves and ask why the muslims are doing these things

  3. Well in the first place, he should not have even thought about burning a Quran. It is not only disrespectful to their religion, but it makes us as americans look bad. Our counrty was based on freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom to vote, and FFREEDOM OF RELIGION! So what RIGHT do WE have to have to take their rights. And plus our soldiers are in their country., we are paying their fate. (sorry i got a little verclempted about the wole issue.)

  4. I think this guy was just asking for attention. I think he was just bored and decided to stress the U.S out and get Iraq even more angered at us. What kind of a man would burn a quran? That would be burning a Bible for Adventists. That's just not right. I find it kind of funny that the U.S Secretary of Defense had to call and tell him not to go forward with his plans. The pastor was probably scared the FBI was going to shoot him or something. I'm glad that the event didn't happen. But I do wonder...what did the pastor do with all of the qurans?

  6. I don't think that what the pastor was planning to do was great, but I also don't think it's horrific. Obviously the Qur'an means nothing to him, just as the "Lemony Snicket" series means nothing to me. But a Qur'an is a different story.

I believe that to many faithful Muslims a Qur'an means just as much as a Bible means to faithful Christians. I mean hey, it's basically the book we live by. When we seek guidance, we look to the Bible, and to imagine it being burned is too bold for me; Now, let's flip the script and imagine someone was hosting "Burn a Bible Day", I'd be sure that person is spiritually unaware of what they're doing.. but I wouldn't be able to do anything to stop it.

At the end of the day, people do silly things and make mistakes. Maybe Pastor Jones just couldn't help keeping his feelings to himself, and had to display his anger by abusing a strong particle that composes Islam, which is what most Americans believe the reason behind 9/11.

  8. Well in my opinion i really dont care if they burn the Quarans becuase its the wrong religion they should believe in JESUS CHRIST.I know its wrong burning other peoples believes but its just not what i believe in. If it was the other way around i would defend it i would of gotten all crazy cuban all up on them becuase the holy bible,Gods word is what i believe in,and its what i will keep believing in. So thats what i think its my opinion dont get me wrong.
