I think it was totally wrong for the Phelps family to disrupt Matthew Snyder's funeral. The Snyder family just lost their only child at 20. They were probably devastated, so they didn't need a protest on their way to the funeral! Were they not thinking? This family protests about how homosexuality causes God to hate the U.S., so why were they at Matthew's funeral? He wasn't gay, so why did they cause an unnecessary amount of stress upon the family? That is the part in which I am greatly confused. I was reading that the Phelps' have their own church and "denomination". I can't believe they would have a whole church about how God hates us because of homosexuality. Would this be a topic for one Sunday, "Lets talk about the gays and lesbians in Lincoln Park"? I mean, seriously? They need to get the thoughts processed correctly next time, or something. They need to listen to Brandon Heath's 'Give Me Your Eyes'.
well... the phelps did have a point that God is punishing the united states,but the phelps didnt have to do their protesting thing in the funneral of alberts only son and he wasn't gay so why did they go there?
Well i can feel the pain of Albert Snyder.Its very sad and im glad his trying to help others soldiers as well so there families wont go through the same thing he went through. Its amazing how 48 states are supporting Albert Snyder.
Now i dont like what the people had on their boards its disrespectful and its sayin that God is unfair and that he doesnt support homosexuality well i dont either.Its a sin that should not be commited.The soldier was not gay but its sad the way he was killed.....
Ick more homophobes, well, once again i donot think it is right for anyone to first of all disrupt a funeral. Then balme it on the homosexuals, i mean her son wasnt homosexual. So what does the gay community have to do with his death. What if her son were homosexual? How would that turn the tables? If they cannot accept homosexuals now, how would they every be able to accept their son?
This video is CRAZY!!!! wow i just dont know why people do things like this? I can understand that people dont like homosexuals, but that gives them no reason to do those things to them. ALso God doesn't hate gays those are his children to like everyone else is.This example is why the world cann't get along because of stupidness like this.This also made me realize how homosexuals are treated i always thought peole like them cause they are all in T.V. and movies,and magazines, but i guess not.The Matthew boy who had the funeral wasnt gay and they still treated him like that those so called christians assumed he was gay just becasue the way he may have acted or something, this shows that some of us need to take some time to get to know other people better and take some time to look at our actions and see how we are treating people t see if it is right.
Another thing that caught my attention is how the Phelps and their followers said that the Lord hates us beacuse of the gays??? Really have they read the Bible??? God is unhappy with us because because we do things like this to other people and the things we say, and we really dont accept him and we call ourselves christians
This video was sad! I thought it was totally wrong for the Phelps family to do that. It's not their decision to judge that is for God to handle. I felt bad for the Snyder family, losing their only son and then getting held at during the funeral. Really they need to have more respect than that. Matthew was fighting for his nation that he loves, and they just yell. Wrong, wrong, wrong. (:
